Find the training you need

Training is available from various sources, such as:

Local authorities (LAs)

Your LA may be able to offer low-cost (and sometimes free!) training closest to you. For example, HFL Education in Hertfordshire offers a governance professional development programme.

Membership organisations

The National Association of School and College Clerks (NASCC) is a membership organisation for clerks and governance professionals. It provides regular training sessions for members, while championing the role and campaigning for better pay and conditions. Find out more about how to join on the NASCC website.
