Help your school foster a wellbeing culture
Wellbeing initiatives will only have the desired impact if you have an underlying culture of looking after staff and pupil mental health and wellbeing.
How can our board develop a wellbeing culture?
1. Work with school leaders on what to ‘keep, improve, start and stop’ (KISS). This will help you think strategically about how to embed wellbeing in your school. Find out more about how to do this here.
2. Make wellbeing a regular agenda item. To develop your wellbeing culture it needs to be on your radar, and you must be willing to discuss staff and pupil wellbeing regularly at meetings.
