Your role

You're responsible for monitoring the spending of pupil premium funding to make sure it's having an impact on pupils.

It's up to your senior leadership team (SLT) to decide how to spend the money.

The pupil premium is designed to help raise the attainment of eligible pupils.

Eligible pupils registered at your school Pupils who meet the funding criteria and who are registered at other state-funded schools – e.g. when hosting summer schools that welcome pupils from other schools Community services that benefit pupils at your school Supporting non-eligible pupils with identified needs, such as those
