All governors have responsibility for monitoring the various aspects covered under the EYFS framework, but this article is most useful to governors with specific oversight responsibilities, such as link governors for EYFS.
If you're a governor with oversight responsibility for the EYFS, nothing here will change how you monitor your school. You're not expected to know the framework set out here in detail – just be generally aware of what it is and use the drop-downs if you need more details.
