You must hold an AGM each financial year

In previous versions of the model articles this was optional - see page 5 of the model articles. Check your own articles - if your trust hasn't adopted the newer articles, this may not be a requirement for you.

You must hold each AGM within 15 months of the last

If your trust is newly incorporated, you don't need to hold an AGM in the year of incorporation or the year immediately after, as long as you hold one within 18 months of incorporation.

Any other meeting of the trust is referred to as a general meeting.
