Register of interests (academy trusts)

What you need to do: in summary

Keep a register of the relevant business and financial interests, including governance roles in other educational institutions, of individuals who have served at any point in the past 12 months as: Members Trustees Local governors Senior employees Include in the register for each individual: Their full name The date of appointment Their term of office The date they stepped down (if applicable) Who appointed them Identify relevant interests arising from close family relationships Publish the register on its website in a "readily accessible format" This means it should be on a webpage, without the need to download or open a separate document (as explained in section 1.1.6 of the academy trust governance guide) Note: you must keep a register of interests which cover seniors employees, but the only senior employee whose information must be included in your published register is the accounting officer Keep the register up to date at all times Confirm when an individual has
