How to monitor your school's pupil premium report
Learn about the changes to your school's pupil premium reporting requirements for 2021-22, and see examples of other schools' published strategy statements.
This article reflects the new requirements for schools regarding their pupil premium spending decisions and how they publish their strategy.
These are set out in conditions 7 and 8 of the pupil premium conditions of grant for 2021 to 2022 from the Department for Education (DfE) - brush up on the rest of the requirements by reading the guidance in full.
Your school must use the DfE's templates to publish its strategy statement
This is separate to its report to you - there are still no requirements for the format in which your school leaders report to you on the pupil premium.
