September 2021 update
All school types
- Admissions register - clarified that it can be kept by appropriate school staff
- Attendance register - clarified that appropriate school staff must update it daily, and the governing board can delegate the keeping of the register to the headteacher
- Renamed newly qualified teachers (NQTs) as early career teachers (ECTs)
- Health and safety, and first aid - the employer must approve (previously we said the employer could delegate)
Added that your school should have a 'behaviour principles written statement' While this isn't a requirement, it's strongly advised by the DfE To reflect the 2021 Academy
