News: Cap on school budget cuts ‘will remain past 2020’

The DfE has confirmed that transitional protections, designed to ensure no school loses more than 3% of its funding when the national funding formula is introduced, will remain in place after 2020. The IFS had claimed that some schools could see cuts to their budgets of 7% or more after 2019-20.
