Parent governors: eligibility (maintained schools)

Who is eligible to become a parent governor? The 2007 and 2012 constitution regulations state that parents and carers of registered pupils at the school are eligible to stand in parent governor elections. We also look at guidance from the DfE and LAs which provide a definition of a parent.
